I rate it 3.9 out of 5, and I would use it at the range rather than as my main hunting bolt.

Each arrow has a press-fit moon nock, 4-inch TPU vanes and a removable 125-grain target point with standard 8-32 UNC threading, so a broadhead can be threaded on where your crossbow and local rules allow.

What are the problems with cheap crossbow bolts like these?

The weaknesses are consistent with a budget aftermarket bolt, and they are worth knowing before you rely on it.

• Wider groups at distance. Straightness and weight consistency ran noticeably looser than branded options such as TenPoint or Carbon Express, which showed up as wider groups at 40 and 60 yards. If you only shoot to 20 yards you will barely notice.
• No documented tolerances. This budget aftermarket brand does not publish the manufacturing tolerance specs that premium bolt lines stand behind, so you cannot compare it on paper the way you can the Carbon Express PileDriver.
• More wind drift. The 4-inch TPU vanes are durable, but they showed more wind drift than the smaller, more aerodynamic vanes on premium bolts.
• Better suited to practice than primary hunting. Per-arrow cost is low, but my testing suggests serious hunters should reserve these for practice.

In my testing the REEGOX bolts work best as a practice-volume product, not as a rival to branded hunting bolts on accuracy. The rule I would use: if you shoot more than a dozen practice arrows a week, buy a REEGOX 12-pack for the range and a six-pack of PileDriver or Match 400 for hunts. If you shoot only a few sessions a season, skip REEGOX and put the money into one tighter-tolerance set you also hunt with, so you never have to re-sight between bolts.
